So fun to get your teen and college age kids together for a family portrait. I applaud moms who stay the course and wrestle schedules and wardrobes and busy lives to capture and document this growing, changing, hectic time in life. Hats off to you . . . you'll be so glad you did it.
Santa is coming to the Courtyard at 200 First Street in Beaches Town Center - Starting December 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 9am-1pm.
For the last 15 years, the shop owners at 200 First Street in Neptune Beach have sponsored the Saturday morning visits with Santa, and many families have a Santa in the Courtyard photo from each of those years. After 15 years a visit and photo with Santa is still $10.
"Santa in the Courtyard is a relaxed outdoor event so you'll want to dress for the weather. For us it has become a fun, family tradition with a bonus” said Deanne Dunlop, owner of Dunlop Photography. Last year the Dunlop Photography team raised over $2,500 in donations for local children's charities.
"Our children have grown up serving the community at this holiday event. No free Saturdays for us in December. Our son, Alec, served as photographer and kiddie wrangler throughout high school. Our daughter Alivia, now a freshman in college, manages our volunteers and the sign in table. She welcomes each family and talks with them about our charitable causes and the programs she is personally involved in as a Director of Fundraising for Smile Camp, a week long, day camp for elementary age children with special needs.” Families may purchase a digital file of their child's photo with Santa for an additional $15 donation to Smile Camp.
Coffee, breakfast and lunch are available at Southern Grounds right inside the courtyard. Lots of fun shopping is available in the shops of 200 First Street and all over Beaches Town Center before, during & after your visit with Santa.
We hope your family will join us for this wonderful beaches Christmas tradition.
See you there,
Deanne & Gus
